Screen Test- Mistakes

We have just finished filming our screen test and are now moving onto editing it. This will be very useful as it will provide experience and practice so when it comes to editing our actual film opening, we can edit it faster and better.
Whilst we were editing, we spotted some mistakes that we made in the filming process.
Here we sorted our screen test shots in 2 different folders; 'actual' and 'bloopers'. This was a good idea as it made editing a lot easier and organised. It also showed us that we had a lot more bloopers than originally planned and this is something we will work on for our actual film opening.
Here we saw some of the mistakes we made whilst filming. For example, the setting I used on the camera was on A+ which meant that it used smart focus. This was beneficial for some scenes but as a general setting it meant that a lot of shots were out of focus, like the one above. For our film opening I will use the Manual setting.
Here is another mistake we made. During the first scene I accidentally didn't move the tripod or my bag so it is in the shot above. I only realised this mistake whilst editing which has shown us that we need to be careful of where we place our things, ensuring that it isn't in shot.

After looking at these mistakes we will take extra care to ensure that our film opening is filmed to the best of our abilities.
